Educators can use Live Radio to motivate learners, inspire reluctant writers and improve speaking & listening skills. You could produce a live show set in time like Centurion Radio, or Pyramid FM, encourage young people to interview famous people in character of the time. Use themed learning opportunities to study alongside national celebrations - Citizenship Week, or National Reading Week. The BBC's News School Report is a perfect example, a national day of celebration for journalism and broadcasting. Bring the community into school with text-in numbers and live telephone calls, encourage young people to make adverts and sell air-time to local enterprise businesses.
This is Radio 2.0, the next generation of Radio Broadcasting, Internet Radio reaches everywhere there's an Internet connection. World Class projects that twin schools from across the globe benefit enormously from this technology. Radio 2.0 is different to Podcasting, this is live, there's no undo button. The emphasis is on preparation and working well within a team. These are some of the most important C21st skills that a young person can acquire, the excitement and potential are immeasurable. Reaching parents with live sports coverage that's phoned in live from the sports fields or away matches will engage and inspire more to participate in sports.

We
have created the lowest cost digital turnkey product available
in the world so that more of you can benefit from the thrill of
live broadcasting. Our unique approach of having the computer do all of the complex mixing has
enabled us to offer incredible functionality at this
amazing low
cost. No other School Radio provider has attempted this.
Without exception, everyone else prefers to deliver commercially
available software. With us, you
start with a system that has been created from the ground up for
inexperienced broadcasters. The Desktop can be easily
upgraded as your capability and
resources permit, you can build your system up into a brilliant
fully specified Dual Studio School Radio Station without compromising your previous
investment. Flight cases can be purchased separately saving
you cost if you don't
need to regularly move your Broadcaster Desktop at first.
We've
been building Radio Stations since 2009 and our customers have experienced an
incredibly high level of reliability with our own specialised
Industrial PC and Digital Sound Control Centre. Unlike
anyone else we boot from a solid state hard drive (SSD) into Windows 7 Ultimate,
this is the "top spec" version of Windows 7 and is designed for
this sort of HD. Don't settle for anything less. Our system is
exceptionally quick and will have your system up and running in
a few seconds. The Twin Disk RAID 1 500GB Hard Disk Array
will ensure your jingles and music files remain backed up at all
times and stored on two independent drives. Not one of our
existing customers has lost a file through a single hard disk
failure. The Wide Touch Screen
is a joy to work with, it has increased screen real-estate that
we have been able to use to bring more functionality at a lower
cost. The ON AIR and MIC LIVE lights are
shown on-screen, an
external dual illuminated sign is available as a cost option and
is available as standard with a Studio Guest Pack. Every possible upgrade path has been
considered so we can provide you with an effective way of
growing your system when resources permit.
The M-Audio AC30 Desktop Monitor Speakers are small and
surprisingly powerful rated at 15w each. As you would expect with any
sophisticated broadcasting solution, these speakers are
automatically muted when a microphone channel is opened.
Two pairs of the XPX2000 DJ Headphones are included as standard,
they are chunky, sound amazing and have an excellent high
definition bass response. As all of the mixing is done in
a true digital state, the Behringer Flying Fader desk can be
remotely controlled by our software, allowing our unique One
Touch Autofade to assist young or inexperienced broadcasters to
have a great live show.
