Everyone Wants to Broadcast - Live Radio Workshop
Aimed at learners, this is a whole day workshop session using school radio studio kit to produce and broadcast live a radio programme and create an audio file that the school gets to keep in MP3 format.  A class sized group or bigger is split up into teams to work on the individual components that go to make up a radio show.  One team will be working on news, another weather, sport, in fact anything that they want to.  There are short notice Editor Meetings, team discussions and guidance that give this an authentic Radio Station experience.

The workshop appeals to everyone, planning, collaborating on a radio programme is a brilliant way to engage students, promote student voice and develop critical thinking skills in a safe secure environment.  This is different to podcasting, this is live, high pressure, on the button radio, and there's nothing like it to motivate learners.  Available for all age groups and all abilities.
